THe flavour was good, but could have had a little more curry, but there was way too much salt. The celery, pease and chicken helped to over come, but please cut down on the salt.
Curried Rice cooked up great and was delicious. We like a little stronger curry flavour and might add more curry or cayenne another time. Lots leftover for tomorrow. Yummy
I discovered Curry Rice mix not very long ago and it has become a real favourite. It's lovely as a side dish, but can also easily be turned into a tasty pilaf with some cubed rotisserie chicken, peas, small cauliflower florets and a teaspoon of Biryani masala. Top it with some cashews and raisins, quickly sauteed in a bit of butter, and you have a delicious meal.
This is one of my all-time favourites. The curry flavour is unique and very pleasant. I usually add some celery, onions, and chicken to the mix.
