We are looking for an Administration and Sales Assistant at our small family-run business in Campbell River. The starting wage is $20/hr for 4 days per week, 6 hours per day.
The position requires a multi-skilled, self-motivated, professional individual:
- Excellent English communication, listening, reading, and writing skills required. Clear and comfortable phone conversation skills needed.
- Administration and Sales duties as assigned, which could include answering phones, making sales calls, creating/updating spreadsheets, creating marketing materials, taking/editing product photos, handling emails, ordering supplies, printing/packing/shipping orders, basic bookkeeping, etc.
- Must be skilled at professionalism in telephone and email etiquette, have intermediate or advanced Excel skills, be familiar with social media marketing (or keen to learn), and be a self-starter.
- Receiving inventory, record keeping, lot coding, food surface sanitation, basic janitorial/dishwashing.
- Valid Food Safe Certificate preferred, and HACCP/PCP knowledge would be an asset.
- Performing additional tasks as required, including assisting on production line. We are a small business; everyone helps wherever needed!
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, class 5 driver’s license preferred.
